Asked to bring “Our Big Idea” for Florida’s Scenic Highway Program it was only natural to explain how much we want tourists to enjoy the ride to Key West … stop, shop and stay along the way. Pat Anderson created a plein air art education program for the City of Pompano Beach Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department using the prototypes of Capt. John Wetzstein’s LEAF BAR. As a plein air easel is also a social table. Pat brings her students to look at what they see to paint the real Florida. Real Places. Real stories are shared about Flagler’s RR from St. Augustine, thru Palm Beach, Broward, Monroe… she is an Ambassador having active Chamber memberships, participating in the Third Thursdays of Morada Way since the beginning four years ago and exhibits her fine art at Redbone Gallery. Actively sharing the Keys beauty as art souvenirs at Pigeon Key Railcar Visitor Center and Gift Shop. Their themed art collection: “
